Incense, especially aloeswood and agarwood, is difficult to distinguish from genuine incense just by appearance , and there are a large number of counterfeits on the market that have been chemically finished or have foreign objects etc.
Variety, Origin
Identification on the variety, place of origin (Rikkoku), distribution center.
Status
Status check based on its part, condition, processing or finished state, including weight increase etc.
Quality Assessment
Assessment of the current market value, based on the state of preservation.

Please contact the appraisal department at our Kyoto main store in advance (by phone, email, etc.).
- ● Depending on the situation, you may be asked to send a photo or the actual item. (Shipping costs are to be paid by the customer.)
- ● Appraisal is free of charge, but we do not issue appraisal certificates.
- ● Appraisals are available from Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 17:00.
- ● Please note that we may have to remove a small portion to check the scent.
- ● If you are thinking of selling, we will take the item in for appraisal.
